Ark and Vine Mission Statement
In a world quick to fix surface-level struggles, we believe lasting change starts deeper—in the heart. We don’t just correct behavior—we shepherd hearts. Because underneath every outburst, shutdown, or struggle is a story that matters. Our goal isn’t simply to manage emotions or modify actions, but to guide individuals and families toward true transformation from the inside out. Not just behavior change—heart transformation. Through biblical truth, compassionate support, and practical tools, we come alongside you to help navigate life’s challenges with clarity and conviction. Equipping you to respond, not just react, as you walk in the peace, purpose, and freedom that comes from Christ alone.
Lindsey Brizendine,
Biblical Counselor |Ordained Pastor
I studied psychology at Liberty University and am a certified behavioral health counselor, trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. With over 14 years in full-time ministry and pastoral ordination, I offer Christ-centered care for individuals, families, and women in crisis. My heart is to create safe, grace-filled spaces rooted in God’s Word—because I’ve experienced His healing myself, and I believe He can do the same for you.
Why is your practice called
Ark and Vine?
The name Ark & Vine holds deep meaning for the kind of care we offer.
The Ark represents refuge. In Scripture, the ark was a safe haven during the flood (Genesis 7:1)—a place where God protected and preserved life in the midst of chaos. In the same way, we desire to be a place of refuge for those walking through storms—offering safety, truth, and hope rooted in God’s Word.
The Vine reminds us to stay connected to Christ, our true source of healing and strength.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit…” —John 15:5
Just as branches cannot thrive apart from the vine, we believe lasting healing—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—comes from being rooted in Him. At Ark & Vine, we don’t offer surface-level solutions. We walk with people toward heart-deep transformation through the truth and grace of Jesus.
This name reflects our heart:
A place of refuge. A path to restoration. A call to remain in Him.
